She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Curran and Mary A. Curran (McCoy); her sister Joanne Grudzien; her son Joseph T. Harmon; and her grandson Isaac Lucking.
She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Scherman; her children, Bernard P. Harmon Jr., Susan (Larry McCarty), Patricia (Randy Lucking), James Harmon, Mary Lencowski, Denise Scherman Johnson, Cathleen (Greg Harlan), Kimberly Scherman, Daniel (Carolyn Scherman) and Kenneth (Leigh Anne Scherman); and her siblings, John W. Curran Jr. and Kathlene Marrin. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's name to The Gift of Life organization or Alzheimer's foundation.
