He is survived by: his wife Ola B. Duncan; his son Timothy Merrell Duncan; his daughters-in-law, Katherine S. Whaley and Charlene Berry Duncan; his grandchild Abra Aleph Duncan; his sister Beulah Comer; and his half-brothers, Wendall Duncan and Langley Duncan.
