He is survived by: his wife Sharon Simmons; his daughters, Donna Gibson (James) of Clinton, Nanette Simmons of Clinton and Kathy Walden (Junior) of Clinton; his stepsons, Eric Jones (Jamie) of Caryville and Brandon Lowe (Ashley) of Kansas; his grandchildren, Josh Gibson (Lea), Brandalyn Wilcox (Bradley), Alicia Walden (John Gleason), Carrie Osborne (Brandon), Mckinley, Braelyn Jones, Reagan, James, Dennis, Nora, Prue and Dylan Lowe; his great grandchildren, KeeLee, Emmitt Gibson, Britton and Brody Wilcox; and his siblings, Janie Carr (late Clyde Carr), Sue Tremaine (late Bob), Bobby Simmons (Donna), Floyd Simmons (Penny), Marcus Simmons (Alicia), Charlie Simmons, Harry Simmons, Jack Simmons and Tim Simmons (late Kim).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Garden (219 Longmire Rd, Clinton, TN 37716).
