He is survived by: his wife Connie Smith; his sons, Michael Smith and Thomas Smith; his stepchildren, Aaron Wilson (Christie) and Amy Burns (Jeff); his grandchildren, Alex Wilson, Ariana Wilson, Jackson Burns and Liam Burns; his sisters, Lena Hoormann, Gail Cooper and Julia Rohr; and his nephews, Denny Toomey and James Toomey.
