She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Carter and Mary Overton Carter; her husband Tony Reed; her son Larry Carter; her brothers, Raymond and Ronnie Carter; and her close friend Gary Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Jennings and Bobby Hansard (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Keith Jennings, Katharina Jennings, Zack Hansard (Kelly), Dylon Hansard and Whitney Brown (Zack); her great grandchildren, Kinslee, Angelina, Bentlee, Billy, Anthony and Kyndra; and her sisters, Dianne Walden (Walter), Joyce Dickson (Ray) and Mary Nell Turnbille.
