She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alfonso and Artie Knaff Young; and her brother Edward M. Asbury. She is survived by: her children, Robert Dye (Shelia) and Sonia Dye (Melvin Williams); her grandchildren, Brittany Scalf (Ricky), Ajai Coleman and Branden Dye; her great grandchildren, Elliot Barnett and Tryston Dye; her sister Lillie March; her niece Cassandra Love; her nephew Billy Love (Heather); and her siblings-in-law, Willie Mae Harris (Robert), Leola Harris and John Dye (Waynette).
