He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Meredith and Mary Meredith; and his siblings, JT Meredith, Ottis Meredith (Elsie), Sterling Meredith, Jr. (Geneva), Daniel Boone Meredith, Ruth Sharp (Robert), Kathleen Morgan (Clyde), Marie Broyles (Curtis) and Viola Meredith.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Strong Meredith; his daughter Ashley Strittmatter (Mark); his grandchildren, Emma Kathyrn Lowe, Jackson C. Lowe, Jacob A. Strittmatter and Josie Kate Strittmatter; and his sister-in-law Norma Meredith.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church Christian Service Center, 225 N Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
