She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer L. Stokes and Nannie Stokes; her brother Charles E. Stokes; and her husband Gary M. Coleman of Clinton. She is survived by: her children, Mark E. Childress (Alica Childress) and Marsha Coleman Stapleton (Martin Stapleton, Jr.); her grandchildren, Noel Childress Shipley (Kipp Shipley) of Gallatin, Will Childress of Clinton, Grace Stapleton and Abigail Stapleton; her great grandchild Knox Shipley; and her sister-in-law Naomi Stokes. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
