He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Stanton Oster Sr. and Irene Oster; his former wife Janice Patricia Weaver Oster; his daughter Tonya Oster; and his grandson Jacob Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Severance Oster; his brother George Oster; his children, Stanton Oster (Gina) and Carla Slone (Ricky); his stepsons, Patrick Burkhardt, Lee Burkhardt (Estelle) and Daniel Burkhardt; his grandchildren, Stanton Oster (Madison), Alexander Oster (Madelyn), Matthew Oster (Lexi), Michael, Timothy Slone, Leanna, Sean and Sarah Burkhardt; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Stanton Michael Oster.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Samaritan's Purse.
