He is survived by: his wife Diane Cooper Carden; his children, Jerree Gaines (Darren) and Gerald Carden (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Chelsea Kent, Michael Kent, Alexandra Carden, Ryan Shoopman, Todd Gaines and Devan Carden; and his siblings, Fay Butturini, John Carden, Linda Childs and Jim Carden.
