He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Kirkpatrick and Bessie Kirkpatrick (Rose); his wife Judith Ann Kirkpatrick (Sharp); his children, Jennifer Justus (Jamie), Matt Kirkpatrick (Jan) and Michael Kirkpatrick (Erin); his grandchildren, Eli, Cal, Sharp, Lillian Kirk, Oliver, Maggie, Mary Lou and Libby; and his siblings, Dr. John G. Kirkpatrick (Donna) of Stillwater, OK, Marilyn Macaulay (Andy) of Dallas, TX and Carolyn Lynd (Edward Wharton) of Lafayette, LA.. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Developing Champion Youth Endowment.
