He is survived by: his son Elmer "Butch" Nelson of Clinton, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Mandy Rice (Chris) of Oak Ridge, Richie Nelson of Clinton, Tennessee and Kairi Gibson (Alex) of Clinton, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Destanie Mills (John), Josh Rice, Anthony Nelson and Jacob Nelson; and his granddaughter-in-law Lisa Nelson of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
