He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ruth Haney; his parents, Brance Haney and Hallie Haney; and his siblings, Bertha Duncan and Willard Haney.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Haney (Pam) of Blackshear, Georgia, Kathy Ellis of Clinton and Carol Townley of Crossville; his grandchildren, Joshua Archer (Lindsey) of Deer Lodge, Justin Ellis (Kelsey) of Clinton and Meghan Ellis of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Makayla Archer, Jaxon Archer and Baron Ellis; and his niece Deana Gangwer. He is also survived by loving father to his children and "Papaw" to his grandchildren.
