She was predeceased by: her father John Fiega; and her husband Herman Fritts of Norris. She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Fritts-Rodriguez (Elias Rodriguez) of Covina and Valerie Alarcon of Knoxville; her granddaughters, Amanda Alarcon of Knoxville and Lauren Rodriguez of Covina; her brother Nelson "Sonny" Fiega; her niece Nicole Fiega; and her nephew Nelson Fiega, Jr. of Springfield, Massachusetts..

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to local pet shelters.
