In the sacred silence of farewell, Earl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Earl's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Sherwood and June Sherwood. He is survived by: his wife Delora; his daughter Pamela Gray (Stacy); his grandson Nik; his brother James; his sister-in-law Nel Shrader (Ron); and his caregiver Earl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, the Human Society, the University of Tennessee Hospice, Hurricane Helene relief and/or the charity of your choice.
