She was predeceased by: her father Claude Elmer Hatmaker; her love Clyde Stephens; and her sister Lorraine Denny (Kurtz Denny) of Georgia. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Smith (Mike), Michael Arnn (Darlene), Kent Stephens (Betty) and Jimmy Stephens (Laurie); her grandchildren, Amber Cox (Paul), Virginia Johnson (Justin) and Ryan Smith; her great grandchild Destinee Sellers Maleighya Sellers; and her siblings, Caspern Hatmaker (Helen Don C.), Maxie (Elmer Trammell), Hazel I. Hatmaker Davis, Ima Jean Hatmaker Ridenour, Velma L. Poyourow (Marvin), Carol Summers and Grace I. Barns (Ernest). She is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Children's Hospital or the Shriner's Hospital in Dot's memory.
