He is survived by: his wife Mary Morris of Clinton; his children, Michael Hopkins of Clewiston, FL, Ashley Morris and Emily Morris; his grandson Jacob Michael Hopkins; his parents, Karrie Butcher of Aloca and David Thomas Morris II; and his sister Tammy Smeltzer of Knoxville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
