He is survived by: his children, Michael Nelson and Chelsey; his son-in-law Carlos Avila; his grandchildren, Layla and Legend Avila; his brother-in-law Randy Hensley; his son-in-law Astral; his grandchildren, Emerson Fox and Iris Murr; and his aunts and uncles, Thelma Grissom, Dianna Dishman (Bill Sotherland), Sherry, Gary Samples, Kathy, Bobby Wise, Beverly Dishman, Debbie Dishman, Sarah Dishman and Ethel Justice. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
