He was predeceased by: his parents, Tivis Allen and Agnes Allen; his brother Burgin Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma Allen, Lenora Allen and Melvin Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Allen of Clinton; his daughters, Connie Polson (Jerry) of Knoxville and Tammy Leonhardt (Larry) of Powell; his grandchildren, Kylie Polson of Orlando, FL, Greg Leonhardt of Powell and Grant Leonhardt of Powell; and his siblings, Jenny Thompson of Simpsonville, SC, Bill Allen of Hiram, GA and Bobby Joe Allen (Joyce Carrolton). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 197, Jacksboro, TN 37757.
