She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clayton and Fanny Louvenia Scruggs (Giles); and her siblings, Anna Lou Loftis, Iva Jean Richards, Dorothy Sue Leinart, Mary Katheryn Griggs, Henry Clayton Scruggs, Jr. and Jere Hinton Scruggs.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Bernard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and cousins.
