We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 66, Buster Lynn Phillips of Clinton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster Phillips and Mary Magalene Stittums Phillips; and his siblings, Gary, Robert Phillips and Linda Dotson.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie Turner Phillips; his children, Buster Thomas Phillips (Kadie) of Clinton and April Danielle Hatmaker (Troy) of Avon, Indiana; his siblings, Charlie Phillips (Pam) of Oliver Springs, David Phillips (Callie), Mary Ann Goings (Mike) of Clinton, Vickie Aslinger of Jacksboro, Karen Isabell (Tom) of Jacksboro, Becky Herrin of Norris and Debbie Weldon of Jacksboro; his grandchildren, Mallory Duncan, Alexander Duncan, Chris Phillips and Rylee Phillips; and his great grandchild Ellie Phillips.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Mortuary (375 N Main St, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37914).
