He was predeceased by: his parents, Victoria Snipes and A. S. "Ma" Henley. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughter Desiree (Terry Wheeler) of Oak Ridge; his grandsons, Ethan (Kaitlin Wheeler) of Spring Hill, TN and Micah Wheeler of Fort Campbell; his brother-in-law Gary B. Lanning; and his caregivers, Elizabeth Handon, Candence Williams, Jerrie Parks, Karleigh Bowling and Cindi Forbey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
