With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cooper of Clinton, Tennessee, who passed away on March 19, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy D. Saunders, Sr. and Mamie Lois Severt Saunders; her husband James William Cooper; her grandchild Kelly Kay Cooper; her brothers, Roy D. Saunders, Jr. (Lana) and Joe D. Saunders (Marsha); and her brothers-in-law, Marshall Hackworth and Frank Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Diane Geigerman of Fernandina Beach, Florida, R. Wayne Cooper (Patricia) of Jekyll Island, Georgia and Wendell K. Cooper (Donna) of Powell, TN; her grandsons, Ivan G. Geigerman of Florida and William C. Cooper (Melissa) of Florida; and her siblings, Peggy Saunders Hackworth of Clinton, TN, Jane Saunders Carey of Clinton, TN, Bill D. Saunders (Linda) of Nashville, TN and Robert L. Saunders (Imogene) of Clinton, TN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
