She was predeceased by: her father George Hicks; her husband Harry Patton; her mother Helen Swaggerty Matsche; and her brother David Hood. She is survived by: her children, Jenny Stripling (Mel) of Chattanooga and Gene Patton (Mandy) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Molly Patton Hill (Trevor), Beth Ann Stripling, Riley Patton, Wes Stripling (Jenna) and Rhett Patton; and her brother Bob Hood (Ruby) of Roanoke, VA.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark United Methodist Church (252 N Main St, Clinton, TN 37716).
