She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hayden Ellis and Tevis Baker Ellis. She is survived by: her uncle Earl; her spouse Duron Jefferson McConkey; her son Dr. William Kim Salmons (Lisa) of Blaine, TN; her nieces and nephews, Rebecca Murphy (Wes) of Tampa, FL, Melodie Thigpen (Paulette) of Richmond, VA, Dr. Ellis Thigpen of Kansas City, MO, Brian Thigpen (Ed) of Atlanta, GA and Reverend Eric Ellis of Auburn, AL.; and her stepgrandchildren, Emily Travis and Adam Fletcher of Knoxville, TN.. She is also survived by her parents, her 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Woodland Kindergarten Classes in Oak Ridge, TN.
