She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Jernigan and Fannie Belle Youree Jernigan; her husband Clifton Wayne Mankin, Sr.; her children, Clifton Wayne Mankin, Jr. and Denise Reed; and her brothers, Ralph and Wayne Jernigan.

She is survived by: her son Kevin "Scooter" Mankin; her children-in-law, Dorinda "Dodie" Mankin of Woodbury and Russell Reed of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Casey, C. W. Reed (Atheana) and Wilder Mankin; and her great grandchild Sadie Grace Reed.
