It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Nilsen of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nilsen Sr. and Elizabeth Nilsen (Livingston); and his former wife Helen. He is survived by: his wife Earlean Nilsen; his children, Daniel Nilsen (Karen) of Macedon, NY and Ruth Haviland (Doug) of Plainfield, CT; his stepchildren, Jonathan Reneslacis (Meg) of Camp Hill, AL and Rachel Reneslacis of Cleveland, TN; his sisters, Elizabeth Frisbee, Dorothy Terrell (Charlie) and Janice Howlett; and his grandchildren, Sarah Walker, Rebekah Nilsen, Leigha Kelley, Dylan Haviland, Kelsie Haviland, Kiersten Haviland, Katelyn Larson, Anne Reneslacis, Julie Reneslacis and Michael Reneslacis.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bryant Fellowship Hall at the North Cleveland Church of God (335 11th St NE, Cleveland, TN 37311).
