He was predeceased by: his former wife Melanie Hindman; and his sisters, Bunnie Julian and Debbie Williams. He is survived by: his son Herb (Hazel Hindman); his wife Georgia; his siblings, Robbie (Tammy), Skeeter Hindman, Diane Gaston (Alan) and Amy Hindman; his stepchildren, Josh Messer, Carla and Stephanie; and his grandchildren, Maddy, Jack and Devin Coleman.

The family request that donation be made to Cleveland Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in lieu of flowers.
