She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Ellison (Zeke) and Agnes Lovett Ellison. She is survived by: her children, Shelley Brooks of Sylacauga and Bobby Brooks (Diona) of Cleveland; her sister Teresa Wright (Allen) of Sylacauga; her grandchildren, Morgan Brooks Greene (Jordan) of Niota, Abby Brooks of Sylacauga, Krystyn Floyd of Talladega, Justyn Truex (Alyssa) of Childersburg and Ryan Truex of Cleveland; her great grandchildren, Addison Goins, Tanner Adkins and Bryce Truex; and her nephews, Matt Wright (Lisa) and Paul Wright (Kara).
