It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vivian Townsend (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Huckaby and Ettie Mae Huckaby; her husband Bob Townsend; her former husband James Gay; and her children, Richard, Jerry Gay and Joan Brewer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Talbot, Patricia Brand and Tammi Cashen; and her grandchildren, Jason Campbell, Barbara Reeder, Jennifer Robinson, Jeremy Woods, Justin Brewer, Kristie Brewer, Josh Brewer, Kyle Cashen, Casey Cashen, Brandy Gay, Steven Clark, Alicia McGowan and Jeremy Randolph. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland Chapel (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
