Shelby Ribar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Ribar of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, I. T. Moats and Ruth Sharp Moats; and her brothers, Albert Moates and John Edward Moates. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Walsh (Benita), Allan Walsh (Lisa) and Larry Walsh; her brother Earl Moates (Barbara); her grandchildren, Whitney Walsh (Angela), Allana Sowder (Travis), Colby Walsh (Becca), Andrew Walsh, Caitlin Malone (Justin), Brooklen Weaver (Ross) and Chloe Walsh; and her close friend Danetter Shaefer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Companion Funeral Home "ridge Chapel" (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hiwassee Memorial Gardens (8063 N Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN 37310).
