It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Womack (Cleveland, Tennessee), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Eugene Womack; and her parents, Arthur Bates and C. Estelle Bates. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Eugene Womack (Alicia) and Vernon Thomas Womack (Margaret "Meg"); her siblings, Thomas Bates (Betty) and Nellie Kyle (Paul); her granddaughters, Tiffany Townsend (George) and Brandy Jones (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Katelyn Thomas, Emma Thomas and Presley Townsend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Ruby's name to Gideons International Bibles or Union Gospel Mission in Chattanooga-two causes that Ruby held dear in her heart.
