He is survived by: his wife Lisa Roof of Cleveland, Tennessee; his children, Meghan Hammontree of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Samantha Roof of Ringgold, John Hill (Becca) of Tunnel Hill and Bishop Roof of Cleveland, Tennessee; and his sister Charlotte Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma..
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
