She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Russell Nobitt; and her brother Allen Dale Varnell. She is survived by: her husband Johnny Velba of Georgetown; her father Thomas Varnell (Ann Varnell); her daughter Janzen Lark Velba of Sioux Falls; her brothers, Lloyd "Chip" Varnell of Cleveland and Michael Varnell (Sharon) of Cleveland; and her sisters-in-law, Tomilee Phillips Varnell of Cleveland, Judy Velba Henry (David) of Cleveland and Carol V. Collins of Cleveland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
