It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Woods Wright of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Garland Wright and Mary Wright; his brother James D. Wright; and his sister-in-law Anne Wright.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wright (Lou Ann), Cindy Freeman, Audrey Dunnebacke (Kevin) and Penny Ragland (Paul); his grandchildren, Mary Salyer (Lukas), Ashley Gerald (Jeff), Jennifer Cavett (Eric), Joshua McElhiney, Rob Wright, Peyton McElhiney, Kayla West, Kyle West, Allison Burchfield (Rob) and Andrew Ragland; his sister Mary Ann Price; and his brother-in-law Kenneth McBee (Myra). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Central Church of Christ (200 25th St NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Brothers Construction Company (1500 Lauderdale Memorial Hwy, Charleston, TN 37310).
