He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Margret Evers; his former wife Goldie Carol McKittrick Banning; his stepson Mark Webb; and also, Harry Lee Hedrick and Ann Winslow.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Madeline Stewart Banning; his children, John R. Banning of Illinois, Myki Bianchetti (Brian) of Illinois and Jason Banning (Aryel) of Illinois; and his stepchildren, Dan Webb of Georgia, Cheryl McMahon Crist of Cleveland, Tina McMahon Scholey of Illinois and Sonya Stewart Dermody (Brent) of Utah. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu flowers, donations be made to the Salvation Army in honor of Richard Banning.
