She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Velma Melton McDowell and Wilburn Franklin McDowell; her husband J. C. Beavers; and her siblings, Donald McDowell, Elnita Pendergrass and Lois Marshall.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverley Lindsey (Tim); her granddaughter Ashley Lindsey; and her brother Reverend Ronald McDowell (Anna). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the JIM Rush North Ocoee Chapel (2600 N Ocoee St, Cleveland, TN 37312). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (7180 N Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN 37312-7350).
