It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Taylor of Cleveland, Tennessee, born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Earl and Shirley Taylor. He is survived by : his wife Peggy Taylor; his children, Jackie Lee (Josh) and Brad Taylor; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Lee, Graham Lee and Gideon Taylor; and his siblings, Keith Taylor (Allison) and Susan Elliott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Westwood Baptist Church (4001 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37312). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (294 Old Eureka Rd NW, Charleston, TN 37310).
