She is survived by: her brothers, Melvin Ownby and Ennis Ownby; her children, Rachel Carroll, Lori Simmons (Jim), Kim Teague (Daw Lee) and Brian Carroll (Jill) of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda, Matthew, John and Hunter; her great grandchild Elijah; and her siblings, Reba Teague of Cleveland, Irene Keys of Cleveland and Frank Ownby of Cleveland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
