It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Slater of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 24, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Michaela Slater of Cleveland, TN and James Ballard of Marianna, FL; his siblings, Jimmy Ballard of Marianna, FL and Kendra Messer of Cleveland, TN; his grandmother Annette Hagin of Chatsworth, GA; his fiancé Mya Johnson; and his daughter Myla Johnson of Cleveland, TN. He is also survived by several cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
