Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Miller Hembree and Nora Mae Hembree (Allen). She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cochran (Jessica) of Blue Ridge, GA, Evan Cochran of Cherry Log, GA, Pearlie Mae Chastain (Britt) of Blue Ridge, GA, Kathy Blankenship (David) of Cleveland, TN, Barbara Osborne of Cleveland, TN, Jo Ann Findley (Alvin) of Ellijay, GA and Wanda Parker (David) of Dalton, GA; and her brother Melvin Hembree of Benton, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
