The passing of Linda Bloodworth Thompson of Cleveland, Tennessee, born in Nashville, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Brenda Bloodworth Mondelli, Faye Bloodworth Anderson and David Bloodworth; her parents, J. D. Bloodworth and Mary Elizabeth Bloodworth of Nashville, Tennessee; and her son Andrew Whitney Thompson Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Andrew Whitney Thompson; her daughters, Linda Michelle Newman (Wes) and Sophia Elizabeth Davis (Heath); her daughter-in-law Courtney Maher Thompson; and her grandchildren, MacKenzie, Annie Katherine Newman, Steelman, Sophia, Landon, Whit Davis, Paige, Drew, Avery and Gerard Thompson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broad Street United Methodist Church (155 Central Ave NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
