Lewis Theodore Gobble Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Theodore Gobble of Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aline Trotter Gobble and Lewis Leslie Gobble; and his sister Dolores Gobble Douglas (Harry). He is survived by: his wife Judy Ownbey Gobble; his sons, Tim Gobble (Christie), Tony Gobble (Ginger), Tyler Gobble and Taylor Gobble (Terra); his grandchildren, Chris Gobble (Sarah), Courtney Guthrie (John), Caitlyn Gobble, Megan Gobble, Michaela Hardgrave (Aaron), Emma Williams (Caycee) and Grey Gobble; his niece Lisa Douglas Smith (Tucker); and his nephew Steve Douglas (Kay). He is also survived by great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Central Church of Christ (200 25th St NW, Cleveland, TN 37311-3833). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Central Church of Christ food pantry or to North Bradley Church of Christ building fund.
