She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Patterson and James Patterson; her husband Ronald Lee Johnston Sr.; her son Ronald Lee Johnston Jr. of Cleveland; and her brother Dave Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Holbert (Jeff) of Cleveland, Sherri Strange (Patrick) of Oklahoma, Cathy Cooper of Ohio and Lloyd Shisler of West Virginia; her brother James Patterson (Jane); her sister-in-law Edna Patterson; and her sisters, Martha Raines (Bob) and Sally Campbell (Charlie). She is also survived by several grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
