He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Davis and Katherine Davis; his wife Ruth; his granddaughter Savannah Martin; and his siblings, Jimmy Davis, Richard Davis, Emma Lou Tinsley and Wanda Rominger.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Davis (Wendi), Sandi Martin (Darrell), Debbie Vines (Rex), Ellen Deakins (Robert) and Jammy Miller (Amy); his sisters, Nancy and Freda Benton (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Josh Davis, Cody Vines, Abigail Kincaid (Tanner), Robert Martin (Becky), Matthew Martin, Candice Pruit (Chris), Dakota, Zachary Bridwell and Kathy Dockery (Jacob). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in Ray's Name.
