He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwards and Beulah Edwards; and his siblings, Robert Edwards, Donnie Edwards, Billy Edwards, Dot Davis and Joy Andies.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Edwards; his children, James "Ray" Edwards Jr., Tim Edwards (Cindy), Tony Edwards and Ginger Leonard (Scott); his siblings, Pat Wells and Larry Edwards (Marshelia); and his grandchildren, Eric Edwards (Jana), Jamie Edwards, Autumn Edwards, Savannah Edwards, Brooke Anderson (James), Brandon Edwards (Holly), Chase Austin (Julia), Jeremy Edwards (Ruth), Emily Parson (Ronnie), Ashlee Kapteina (Chris) and Josh Cantrell (Julie). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and identical twin great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Companion Funeral Home "ridge Chapel" (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service (2412 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
