He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Burns and Mattie Burns; and his siblings, Rachel Burns, Doris Longmire, Fred, Larry and William "Peewee" Burns.
He is survived by: his close friend Kim; his children, Casey Lewis and Nicholas Burns; and his siblings, Barbara Cheek and Alvin Burns.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home, Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the same location.
