She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Wilson and Carl Wilson; her husband James Dodson; and her siblings, Jesse Wilson, Ruth Haire, Alvin Wilson and Wayman Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Gallatin and Marion Dianne Neely; her grandchildren, James Gallatin, Destiny Dodson-Jones and Andrew Neely; her great grandchild Kyla Gallatin; her extended family, Connor Jones, Jada Neely and Susie DeGrasse; and her sisters, Reba Fredrick and Ethel Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
