He is survived by: his children, Laurel Waid Adkins, Tammy Kincannon, Joy Massengill and Kyle Akins; his grandchildren, Annalise Adkins, Amber Minton, Jessika Flinchum, Mason Massengill and Hannah Massengill; his great grandchild Cameron Minton; and his siblings, Bill Akins, Betty Reneau, Joyce Dupree, Geneva Pack, Helen Thompson and Jacki Akins.
