He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlando Eugene Ramsey and Pauline Haun Ramsey; his brothers, Gene Ramsey and Don Ramsey; and his son-in-law David Landrith.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Cate Ramsey; his children, Jennifer Landrith Oliver (Jack) of Brentwood, TN and Larry Ramsey (Brenda) of Cleveland; his grandchildren, Rachel Lorance (Stephen) of Winston Salem, NC, Rev. Samual Landrith (Katie) of Spring Hill, TN, Joshua Landrith of Nashville, TN, Will Ramsey (Katherine) of Mount Juliet, TN, Jake Ramsey (Ali) of Cleveland and Cana Kirksey (Brett) of Cleveland; his great grandchildren, Crosby, Reynolds, Graham, Reece, Ryder, Baker, Eloise, Adi Beth, Colter and Everett Glen; his siblings, Martha Mynatt of Knoxville and Wesley Ramsey of Cleveland; and his siblings-in-law, Hugh Cate (Rickie), Susan Tindal (Jim) and Elizabeth Lay.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar First Baptist Church (294 Old Eureka Rd NW, Charleston, TN 37310). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calendar Candies Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (294 Old Eureka Rd NW, Charleston, TN 37310).
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to Glen's great granddaughter, Eloise Harper Ramsey, who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS) and is undergoing treatment and surgeries, through GoFundMe at https://gofund.me.
